The four reported demo presets
GamingTrend and GamingBolt independently list the same four difficulty names in their demo coverage. That agreement provides a corroborated preview list. It does not establish every rule attached to those presets in the final retail menu.
The PlayStation Store lists preset difficulty selection for the PS5 product. The official demo announcement also mentions multiple difficulties. These sources support the presence of selectable challenge without requiring a guessed table of enemy statistics.
- Low — reported demo preset
- Medium — reported demo preset
- Hard — reported demo preset
- Exterminatus — reported demo preset
Accessibility is a separate choice
The September developer announcement names returning Invulnerability, Infinite Ammo and Unlock all weapons options. It also introduces Undying as a way to receive help against death while experiencing damage. A developer interview corroborates the Undying addition.
These tools are not simply extra names in the difficulty list. They concern different aspects of the play experience. The beginner guide introduces their role alongside movement and navigation assistance.
Preview challenge and player impressions
Nuka Kitten’s video is an Exterminatus demo session. The recording is useful evidence of that creator’s experience on the reported setting. Individual impressions of the challenge are not a universal measure of how difficult every player will find the game.
The protagonists also have different movement tools and equipment. That makes a character comparison more useful than a ranking based only on one recording. No precise scaling formula is inferred from the number of enemies visible in a video.
Achievement and switching rules
The research confirms achievement support on Steam and Xbox. It does not verify whether specific accessibility options affect unlock eligibility. Mid-mission difficulty changes and final difficulty-dependent rewards likewise require separate retail evidence.
