Choose a protagonist before the campaign
The official character announcement describes choosing one protagonist for a campaign playthrough. Malum is the returning Ultramarines Sternguard Veteran, while Nyra is a Celestian Sister of Battle. Their differences concern equipment and abilities rather than an announced cooperative mode.
The demo lets you experience both available protagonist choices in preview play. That makes it a useful starting point for understanding the character contrast before committing to a campaign run. The character overview collects the confirmed identities and English performers.
Learn the movement tools
Malum’s chainsword lunge lets him move toward an enemy. Obliterating Charge also returns with an upgraded presentation and power in the developer announcement. These are the movement tools established for his kit, without a verified numerical damage comparison.
Nyra’s Fervent Slide can lead into a Leap. The lead designer describes using those tools to reach higher areas and reposition around combat. Her character page explains the associated Power Sword, pistol and Melta Bomb tools in more detail.
Separate difficulty from accessibility
Two independent demo reports list Low, Medium, Hard and Exterminatus. The PS5 product also lists preset difficulty selection as an accessibility feature. These sources support the availability of options without establishing final damage multipliers or a universal best setting.
Official announcements separately name Invulnerability, Infinite Ammo and Unlock all weapons. Undying adds help against death while retaining a damage experience, as described by the developer. Read difficulty and accessibility before assuming that any particular option has a verified achievement effect.
Keep the preview in context
The demo contains two levels rather than the full set of campaign routes. It confirms a useful starting experience, not every retail weapon, collectible or boss tactic. Use the official Steam page for the documented demo and keep mission-specific claims tied to the version that was actually played.
