The two demo areas
The official demo announcement describes an overgrown mangrove swamp on a Death World. Nurgle daemons and cultists are part of that preview area. It then describes a frozen battlefield and an icy Imperial facility occupied by Chaos forces.
Community demo records use the labels Welcome to the Wilds and Breaking the Ice. A speedrun record and a creator’s video chapter list agree on those names. They are useful labels for the preview, rather than a verified order for the full retail mission list.
Finding your objective
Official material confirms the Navigation Guide as an aid to finding the next objective. The September announcement adds an automap to the sequel’s navigation tools. Both provide a documented way to understand your route without relying on an invented sequence of instructions.
The collected GameRiot captions include a moment where the creator uses navigation assistance in the demo. That supports the existence of a practical navigation aid in preview play. It does not verify default controls, every checkpoint or a complete route through both levels.
Campaign branches change the scope
The full campaign is announced as branching, with more than 30 levels available across its structure. The developer says you cannot see all of that content in one playthrough. A future complete walkthrough therefore needs to distinguish the chosen route from other branches.
The mission list overview separates advertised campaign scale from the known demo labels. The character guide also explains why the selected protagonist matters to movement and equipment. Neither a linear first-game walkthrough nor one preview recording establishes every route in the sequel.
Using the available video coverage
GameRiot’s recorded PC demo follows Nyra and includes commentary about navigation and weapons. A separate creator chapter list supplies secret and seal timestamps for the demo. These videos can help you orient a replay, but their titles do not prove complete campaign or collectible coverage.
